Dallas-based attorney Michelle Simpson Tuegel (pictured above), a former elite athlete who won the World Cup in Women’s Slalom in 2005 and competed for the United States in water skiing. Tuegel  now represents numerous Olympic and national team athletes in cases against the USOC and others who failed to prioritize the safety and well-being of athletes. She is available to comment about coronavirus in the sports community, particularly the impact on the Tokyo Olympics.


Simpson Tuegel has also represented sexual abuse survivors in high-profile cases such as the Larry Nassar litigation against USA Gymnastics and the U.S. Olympic Committee, and sexual assault survivors at Michigan State University and the University of Southern California.
