PR for social justice and nonprofit organizations

PARIS – Sara Breuer, Newsroom PR's Social Justice and Nonprofit lead, has worked at nonprofit organizations for over 10 years, including experiences in the emergency response and international development fields. Her main focus is on human trafficking- she has worked professionally in the sector for 5 years. She’s trained 10,000+ community members and frontline professionals to recognize and respond to trafficking. As the Collaboration Manager for the United Against Human Trafficking Coalition, she coordinated 60+ organizations and individuals, including Survivor-led organizations, in strategic efforts to combat trafficking in the Houston area. She is especially passionate about addressing labor trafficking and effective collaboration with people with lived experience of exploitation. She has a degree in International Relations and French with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in International Management.

With Newsroom PR, she specializes in working with clients with a social justice focus. She conducts training on exploitation, marginalized communities, and effective collaboration. Sara also helps nonprofits and philanthropic funders reach bigger audiences through strategic PR.
